This guy was standing on our dock line searching for some breakfast this morning. He found it!
This was about a 40 mile trip east through crystal clear Bahamas water.
Heading south on the Chesapeake Bay across the mouth of the Potomac River. The weather forecast called for sunny skies…
Our anchorage in Solomons Island, Maryland on our 2nd bad weather day in a row during our trip down to Florida.
In this clip we were sailing 24 miles down the Chesapeake Bay from our marina in the Magothy river to an anchorage in the Rhode river. During this clip we were on a beam reach (wind directly on the side of the boat) and sailing at 6.2 knots (7.1mph). We were north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and were heading southeast. I used a Garmin VIRB camera that Glennis got me for Christmas to take this video.
