Every year that we’ve spent the summer in Lake Tahoe we’ve made the trip from Florida to California (and back) by car.
Land Trips
We’ve been cruising by land as well as by sea. Some of these trips have been short (2-3 days) visits to places in Florida where we’ve never been. Also found here are weekly posts with lots of pics about our summers spent in Lake Tahoe, including the annual cross-country driving trips to and from.

Since 2021 we have been spending the summers in an old cabin on Lake Tahoe.
It occurred to us that camping in an RV has a number of similarities with gunkholing in a sailboat.
We also travel around in the state of Florida a lot. It’s a big state, and there is a lot to see.
